After winning the toss on a blustery evening in Headley, new skipper Will R chose to bat first.
Elstead batted well in their 20 overs, losing only 4 wickets in posting their highest score of the season of 124.Highlights of the innings were a great knock of 39 not out by opener Sam H (which included a pull for 6 over midwicket),well supported by Ollie R,Will B and Jack S. Elstead's total was also boosted by quite a few extras, though it should be noted to their credit, that Headley did give a bowl to all of their players except the wicketkeeper.
Headley's reply started strongly and at 33 runs for no loss after the first 5 overs,it looked like it was going to be a close finish. However,Elstead kept chipping away with regular wickets, with strong contributions from Ollie R,Jack S and Will R.Will's final 2 overs only went for 2 runs and in this time he picked up 3 wickets. This left Headley to finish on 100 runs for 8 wickets at the end of their innings, leaving Elstead victorious by a margin of 24 runs.
