Whilst the season may seem a way off, your committee and junior managers are beavering behind the scenes to ensure the club is ready to hit the ground running next year.

Winter nets are being organised with junior nets beginning Sunday 14th January and Senior nets on Thursday 15th February. Both will, once again, be held at Aldro School.

The junior section continues to grow and will be offering cricket from U7 to U15. All helpers and coaches are reminded to ensure they have DBS checks - please contact our Safeguarding officer, Milla. We are looking for a new look for our juniors this season as they play in Elstead 'colours', for which sponsorship is being sought.

The Clubs AGM will be on Friday 7th February at the pav. Please turn up and bring ideas, comments, suggestions on the future of your club. We have new Captains and vices to welcome - maybe buy them a beer to ensure selection!

Following a vote by all clubs in the I 'Anson league all recent rule tweaks were agreed and, most importantly, re-instating teas was rejected. Obviously Sunday teas are unaffected. Two Haselmere teams are joining the league so we wait to see the make up of divisions but have been assured our two's will be playing the full 18 games.

A repeat of the Coronation Cup is being planned for May and a quiz night fundraiser prior to the start of the season. Changeover day is set for Sunday 14th April - let's make it as successful as this years was.
