Take the fantastic 50 (not out) off 30 balls, out of the equation and this match was a great match up of to good teams, who played the match in a fantastic manner. The Bourne, it was great to host you today and have such a well balanced match (except the beautiful display of some really good hitting by your retiree).
Elstead won the toss and elected to bowl, and set out with a far more disciplined bowling attack than the week before. At half way in the Bourne's innings the match was finely balance. The next 4 overs made all the difference though, with the score rocketing from 52 to 99. Elstead managed to pulled things back a little, but those four overs swung the game. With 143 to chase it was always going to be a tall order. Elstead batted well, with some classy batting, however were never able to make up those 4 overs, and fell short on 116 at 20 overs.
