On the 4th July we received planning permission to install new enclosed nets on the site of the old facility. This is a big step for the club will require a sizable fundraising effort from all of our members.
To that end we are forming a subcommittee to oversee and enquire into grants, donations, events and anything else we can think of. If you or you know of anyone, a friend or partner, with experience in marketing, fundraising or a creative communicator who is willing to help and join this group please message Paul Soothill directly. We are also looking for someone who can manage the environmental report required before we break ground.
This will be an amazing facility for the club, especially for the juniors, providing a safer environment for all but can only be achieved through everyone at the club pulling together.
The sub committee will look to meet in August to get going on the project ASAP.
