I am very sad to report the sudden and tragic death of Charles Bowman following a fall last Saturday. Charles was a much-loved member of the club whose passion for the game led him to make a huge contribution to club life as club secretary, umpire and a lovely social member. He will be sorely missed by us all.

There will be a coroner's report on Friday 1st, so pending the outcome of that, the funeral is provisionally booked for Monday 11th December, 12 noon. It is at Easthampstead Park Crematorium, South Road, Bracknell RG40 3 DW, and afterwards at Easthampstead Park Conference Centre, Peacock Lane, Bracknell RG40 3DF. There will be a collection for charity instead of flowers. If there are any changes to the schedule I will post them on the website and facebook.

Charles' daughter, Lisa, is organising the funeral and has asked if we can let her know approximate numbers so that they can cater accordingly. Also, she has asked if anyone has stories and photos, appropriate or otherwise to send them to her by email. Her email address is lisacbowmangoss@gmail.com
